Author: Bill Ross, founder of Emulent Published Article

Key takeaways

  • Connectors let Claude read data from, and in many cases act inside, the marketing tools you already use, through the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
  • Claude inherits your permissions: Anthropic’s documentation says a connector can only reach what you can access in the source system.
  • This list covers 65 connectors across SEO, CRM, email, analytics, design, CMS, project management, automation, payments and privacy.
  • Most connect the same way: open the Connectors Directory, choose the tool, sign in and approve access. Team and Enterprise owners must enable connectors first.
  • Availability, features and tool counts change often, so confirm each connector’s page in the directory before building a workflow around it.

One of the most useful ways to put AI to work in marketing is to connect Claude directly to your existing tools. Instead of switching tabs, exporting CSVs and stitching reports together, you can ask Claude to pull data, analyze campaigns, draft content or update records in plain language. This Emulent guide lists 65 connectors marketers can use with Claude, what each is good for and how to get started.

How do Claude connectors work, and how do you add them?

Connectors use the Model Context Protocol to give Claude access to an app’s data and actions. According to Anthropic’s help center, connectors let Claude access your apps and services, retrieve your data and take actions within connected services, and Claude inherits each person’s permissions from the connected service. If you cannot see a record in the source tool, Claude cannot either.

  • In a chat, click the “+” button, hover over Connectors and choose to manage or browse connectors. You can also browse from the Connectors section in Settings.
  • Pick a connector, review its description and capabilities, then click Connect and sign in to the service.
  • Approve only the permissions you need, and turn the connector on in the conversations where you want Claude to use it.
  • On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner enables connectors for the organization first, and can limit actions, for example allowing reads but blocking writes.
  • For tools not in the directory, you can add a custom connector with the service’s remote MCP server URL. Only connect servers from organizations you trust.

A few cautions apply to every connector below. Confirm what each one can read and write before connecting, keep customer personal data and protected health information out of tools that are not approved for it and review any action Claude proposes before it changes live campaigns, records or payments.
